Based in Central PA, the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners feature dynamic songwriting, singing, and improvisational musicianship, while playing their own very special & potent musical brew. Their music ranges from bluegrass, Americana & old-time to ….well …anything! They blend a variety of influences & distill them into a musical style all their own. And it’s easy to see how much they love to play and how much joy they bring to the music and to audiences young and old.
This award-winning collective has been making a joyful noise since the late 2000’s. In 2010, the band won the prestigious DelFest Bluegrass Band Competition in Cumberland, Maryland. Bluegrass Unlimited magazine has praised the Moonshiners’ originality, authenticity, and enthusiastic approach to making music. Every member contributes to the songs, sounds & joy that makes every Moonshiners show a celebration.

Whipple Dam State Park, a family destination for over 100 years, is a great summer music destination too. Music on the Beach at Whipple Dam is back again this summer. So grab your favorite beach gear & something to keep you warm if it's a cool evening, and join us for music on the sand, under the stars.

The Appalachian Fiddle & Bluegrass Association's annual AFBA Festival offers one of the best festival line-ups in the northeast, or anywhere & we made the cut! We're joining national recording artists along with other regional favorites for this one of a kind festival. We take over the stage twice on Friday. First at 1pm & again at 4pm.
This is our third invite to the AFBA festival & if you've never explored this part of Eastern PA, we can't recommend a better setting to enjoy some of the best acoustic music around.
The Poe Valley Troubadours at the Elk Creek Café & Aleworks!
The third Thursday of each month, we dress up as our mischievous (and a little quirky) twins, the Poe Valley Troubadours for our monthly gig at the Elk Creek Café and Aleworks in Milheim, PA. We change things up a little every month, so if you haven't been out for a Troubadours show yet, come join us. With the combination of great beer, awesome locally sourced food and entertainment, there's no better way to celebrate a Thursday!
